Why I Believe Customer Care is more of a Concept than Reality in Romania! (1)

I do shopping for stationary & other for my office/company in Cora. Paper still plays a major role in lives of many Romanians and I have to go to a special counter to dispense a proper invoice for my purchase. Every single time I have to feed them my data to be injected in a system which never remembers it even for a minute. I am losing at least 5 minutes (although the rule is 10) for this purpose every time I am doing so. Surprisingly enough they waste a similar amount of time (I mean here MONEY) employing someone to do the silly job.

Think Auchan is different? You’re kidding me!

IKEA – Not even.

It is already a norm here!

How about restaurants? I would prefer going to a restaurant that could set it system to recognize my registration number and supply a proper invoice without extra time involved (provided that they offer similar quality services). And believe me sometimes it takes a lot! Once in Targu Mures I waited about 50 minutes just before midnight until they decided they actually can dispense invoice (did you notice that after 10pm many restaurants pretend different scenarios just to avoid writing invoices) and cancelling three of them  until they could supply a proper one (they made all kinds of possible mistakes)!

Think they care about customers? Convince me!
